GoCompare appoints Telegraph chief Nick Hugh to non-exec role
GoCompare has welcomed Nick Hugh, chief executive of The Telegraph Media Group, to its board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

With over 20 years’ experience in media and startups, Hugh brings a wealth of experience to the role, honed most recently through delivery of The Telegraph’s ‘registration-first’ strategy of prioritising investment in tech, data and journalism.
Chairman Sir Peter Wood said: "Nick has a vast amount of experience working with companies in digital, marketing and media and will provide invaluable insight to our strategic and operational aims, including the delivery of our Savings as a Service strategy.
“The board and I look forward to Nick's input as we continue to develop our customer offering, making saving time and money as hassle-free as possible for consumers."
Prior to serving with The Telegraph Hugh worked at Yahoo! For eight years, including a spell as vice president of EMEA. Other positions held down over the years include roles at BT and ad-tech provider Phorm.
