Inspired by street food from across the world, Walkers has added two 'trending tastes' to its flavour range: BBQ Pulled Pork and Spicy Sriracha.
The days where street food was constrained to pallid, tasteless burgers and sloppy bacon butties are long past. Over the past 10 years, options from foreign lands have disrupted the mix, providing us with gourmet tastes of Korean kimchi, Pan-Asian bao buns and Middle Eastern shawarma wraps.
In light of the growth of food market stalls and trucks selling street food, Walkers' TV campaign brings the inspiration of the flavours to life by placing them within the setting from which they came.
Set amidst a busy marketplace, brand ambassador Gary Lineker and actress Emily Atack run a Walkers food truck selling BBQ Pulled Pork and Spicy Sriracha crisps. As the crowds surround the van, the pair battle it out to draw their attention to their chosen flavour of crisp.
