This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below. This week's features moves at Oliver, Bauer Media, McCann Worldgroup, Yext, Edelman, and TBWA Worldwide.

EMEA people are on the move

Vice

Vice Media head Tjeerd van Lotringen has departed from the digital media and broadcast company to move client-side in Amsterdam.

White Stuff

The former global brand director for Boden, Penny Herriman, has joined high street fashion retailer White Stuff as customer director.

Kinetic

After six years at Kinetic, Stuart Taylor is stepping down from his role as UK chief executive. He will leave the agency in June.

Oliver

The former executive creative director at R/GA, Rodrigo Sobral, has joined Oliver. He will be responsible for the agency's creative output across global clients.

FCB Inferno

FCB Inferno's chief strategy officer, Vicki Holgate, is leaving the agency after seven years. This is part of a restructure it claims will create specialist planning skills.

Yext

Yext Europe has named Wendi Sturgis its chief executive. She most recently acted as Yext's chief client officer.

Talk Global

Talk Global has appointed Sophie Hayes as board director, completing the agency's leadership team.

Street Feast

Street Feast has hired Josh Williams as head of content and marketing, a new role for the brand. Williams will lead Street Feast’s content strategy and drive brand awareness across the business’ five venues – Dinerama, Model Market, Giant Robot, Hawker House and seasonal pop-up Winterville.

Finecast

The former managing director at Xaxis UK, Harry Harcus, is to join Finecast UK as managing director. In his new role, he will lead on the strategy and day-to-day management of the operation.

Hush

Hush has strengthened its talent operations, hiring David Whitely as senior creative technologist. Christina Jorro will join the design agency as studio manager.

Pitch

Pitch has hired Mark Norcutt as executive creative director. He joins PItch from Saatchi & Saatchi, where he was creative director.

ID

The Glasgow-based agency, ID, has added three members to its senior management team. Crawford Jolly has joined as head of design, Jen Bannerman as head of client services and Jamie Cook as head of digital marketing.

Mubaloo

Mubaloo has promoted Gemma Coles to head of Mubaloo. In her new role, Coles will be tasked with fulfilling an ambitious three-year plan for the company.

TBWA\London

TBWA\London has appointed Katie Jackson to the newly created role of managing director. Formerly joint head of account leadership at Grey, Jackson will join TBWA\London from April in order to help manage the agency’s portfolio of local and global new business.

UM London

UM London has appointed Victoria Steward as its first head of growth. Steward joins from OMD where she was new business director, will be responsible for developing UM’s growth strategy in the UK.

Bauer Media

Bauer Media has hired Richard Dawkins to work across its European radio business in the new position of chief operating officer. He is currently chief operating officer of BBC Content.

Korn Ferry

Amanda Pitt is to lead Korn Ferry’s media and entertainment practice for the UK and EMEA. She has previously been a partner at Grace Blue and managing partner of new business and marketing at Havas Media Group.

APAC people on the move

Whalar

Whalar has named former chief executive officer of Axiata Digital venture, Ada, Matt Sutton as its APAC chief executive officer. He is charged with building Whalar's APAC operations.

The Trade Desk

The Trade Desk has boosted its leadership team to tap into the growth of programmatic advertising in the Asia Pacific.

The adtech platform has promoted Mitch Waters from his role as the general manager of Australia and New Zealand to senior vice president of South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ). It has also brought in Troy Yang from Analytic Partners as senior vice president of North Asia, based in Hong Kong.

OMG

OMG Southeast Asia and India's chief executive, Torie Henderson, is to depart the agency after 13 years.

Carat China

Carat China has hired Wan-Gyn Ang as chief executive - a role that has been vacant since Ellen Hou departed the agency last May. Ang was previously PHD Singapore's managing director.

R/GA

R/GA has hired former Host/Havas executive creative director Seamus Higgins as vice president and chief creative officer of Asia Pacific to lead the agency’s creative team.

The agency has also made two internal promotions. Robert Chalmers has been promoted to executive creative director and head of experience design for APAC. Niklas Lilja has been elevated to executive creative director and head of stories APAC.

Franklin Resources

Franklin Resources has appointed Balaji Vaidyanathan as marketing director, Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. He will be responsible for driving the firm’s marketing strategy and brand initiatives for the region.

Vuulr

The former executive vice-president and president of Turner Broadcasting in Asia-Pacific, Steve Marcopoto, has joined Vuulr as a member of its Industry Advisory Board.

Criteo

Criteo has appointed Kenneth Pao as executive managing director. He will provide strategic direction and further accelerate the growth of Criteo’s business in the Asia-Pacific region.

McCann Worldgroup Philippines

McCann Worldgroup Philippines has promoted the creative leader, Joe Dy, to chief creative officer.

TBWA

Advertising veteran, Lee Clow, is to depart from his role as chairman of TBWA\Media Arts Lab and global director of media arts for TBWA Worldwide.

Omnicom

Omnicom has appointed Hearts & Science founder and boss, Scott Hagedorn, to head up its North American media buying division.

Isobar

Isobar has promoted Ricardo Salema as its first US chief creative officer. He was previously executive creative director.

Edelman

The former chief executive of Leo Burnett Canada, Judy John, has been hired by Edelman as its first global chief creative officer to oversee its growing team.

Chapter

Chapter has hired Sue Murphy to the new role of design partner. She joins the creative studio from Weiden + Kennedy, where she was design director.

OPMG

The former Wunderman North America's chief strategy officer, Nelson Freitas, has joined OPMG as global chief strategy officer.

The Many

The Many has promoted Todd Lombardo to managing director, brand and social.

Mono

Andrew Voss has been promoted to design director at Mono. He has been tasked with managing the Mono design team, leading all design-driven work and mentoring creative staff.

MediaLink

MediaLink has hired Christopher Vollmer as managing director. He will be based in the New York office.
