Nottingham-based Midlands Engine has launched a new campaign spanning OOH, digital, print, PR and social designed to position the region as a hub of economic growth.

A coalition of local authorities across the east and west Midlands, universities and businesses including The Midlands Engine have appointed CreativeRace to lead multi-channel communications efforts.

Sir John Peace, Midlands Engine chairman, said: “We conducted a robust search across the UK to find the best team to lead this incredibly important campaign. CreativeRace gave us a winning combination of a strong understanding of the Midlands’ region’s traditional and digital media channels, and importantly, a very clear view on communication with external markets, at home and abroad.

“That, combined with their very obvious enthusiasm and passion for our brief and the mission at hand made our decision clear when it came to selecting our new partner.”

Midlands Engine partners include Nottingham University, Jaguar Land Rover and Gym Shark.
