Love for sale: Valentine's Day campaigns for your romantic interludes
The late rock philosopher, J. Geils, once famously stated: "Love stinks." For those who don't share the bandleader's sentiments, there's Valentine's Day.

Some might call it a holiday manufactured by those selling flowers, chocolates, and silky undergarments, but there's no lack of love going around for brands that stand to capitalize on the aim of Cupid's arrow. In fact, according to the National Retail Federation, Valentine's Day shoppers will add $20.7bn to the economy, up from $19.2bn spent in 2018.
A couple of pizza chains are even getting into the spirit of the day by offering heart-shaped pizzas and...weddings in a pizza shop.
The Drum has compiled some of the campaigns meant to get you in the mood — and in good with your significant other — this February 14. Not all are typical saccharine-soaked spots; a few are genuine tales of love, while others use humor and knowing sarcasm to jab a bit of fun into the romantic day. Click through each one and vote for your favorite.
