‘Future of the Full English’ breakfast panel event with Media Bounty

Agencies Hot Pickle, Media Bounty and Story PR will co-host The Future of the Full English - a breakfast panel event for “curious foodies” in London on 28 February.

The Future of the Full English panel is a breakfast event for "curious foodies" say its organisers.

Attendees can expect a lively discussion on the key issues defining the future our food involving influential industry speakers including The Drum’s own associate editor Sonoo Singh, Ollie Lloyd of Great British Chefs, Fozia Ismail, Arawelo Eats, Rob Woodall of The Meatless Farm Co and Nurdin Topham of Chef.

Subjects under discussion will include the impacts of Brexit or a US trade deal on food standards, the potential for lab grown sausages and whether, in the near future, we’ll be lacing our morning coffee with CBD oil.

Outlining the motivations behind the event, Jake Dubbins, managing director and co-founder of Media Bounty, said: “The pace of change in the food and drink industry is astonishing. The global meat alternative market is predicted to be $5.8 billion in 2020. CBD hemp oil is expected to reach $2.5 billion by 2026. That said, Brexit, future trade deals and food scarcity caused by climate change make predictions pretty uncertain.

“We are really excited to have such a fascinating and diverse range of speakers to make sense of what will be the big trends, what will be in a full English and even what does English food even mean any more.”

The event takes place on Thursday 28 February at the top floor at Fora Bourough, 180 Borough High Street in London between 8:15am – 9:30am. You can register for the free event by clicking here.
