The awards are celebrating over 10 years of recognising the best marketers and campaigns in the industry and are open to advertising agencies, in-house marketing teams, design consultancies, digital agencies, PR companies, integrated agencies and any company that has created outstanding marketing activity over the eligibility period.
Snare has worked in the industry for over 25 years and joined Facebook in 2016. Starting out at Scoot in 1997, she moved on to Yell in 1999 as business development manager focusing on distribution with multi-national and global partners. In 2000, she joined Microsoft in MSN and grew online services by 300% in advertising revenue.
She said: “The Drum has been one of the most influential marketing platforms for years, and the prestige that winning a Drum Award brings is immense to people individually and to companies and agencies alike.
"I couldn’t be prouder to be part of the awards in such a pivotal year for the industry – we need beautiful, thoughtful and provocative lighthouse examples to show the world that marketing and advertising is a force for positive change.”
As chairperson, Snare will lead the jury in the search for world-class marketing campaigns and marketers that build more belief in the industry and the talent working within it.
