Ads We Like: Spark showcases the power of love in emotional ad for Pride 2019

New Zealand telecommunications company Spark has teamed with LGBTQIA+ charity OUTLine to create a powerful ad about love.

The campaign, created by Colenso BBDO, coincides with the Pride 2019 Festival and aims to shine a light on the parents of the LGBTQIA+ community, with a particular focus on the trans community.

The campaign seeks to raise awareness of OUTLine, a charity that offers a free support line to members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their friends and family, in a bid to encourage people to talk and share their experiences.

The campaign follows a mother as she relates her experiences of coming to terms with her son's transition. The powerful advert shares the personal challenges the family faced and delivers a strong message about the power of love.

The campaign features the line, "Let's talk. Even when you don't know what to say."

The campaign is running across TV and social media.
