Code Worldwide New York has hired Meg Columbia-Walsh as its first US president. She will be responsible for expanding Code’s remit into advanced technologies for marketing automation and personalization in the US.

Columbia-Walsh will report to the global chief executive, Matt McNeany, and will oversee the company's expansion into new sectors, like healthcare, and look after partnerships with agencies across the Omnicom network to help advance technology use and personalization at scale for clients.

Prior to this role, Columbia-Walsh was CEO and co-founder of Wylei Inc., where she worked in advanced AI for marketing and gained great knowledge across the marketing-technology sector. She has founded and sold a number of martech companies including Inverse Mobile, a preferred Facebook healthcare agency (sold to EY); HealthTech Digital Communications, the first online ad agency and web development firm in healthcare; and CBS Healthwatch, a business she subsequently took public and sold to Phamcia and Upjohn.

Columbia-Walsh serves or has served on the Board of Directors for numerous non-profit companies including Rider University Board of Trustees, National Coalition of Cancer Survivorship, StartOUT, Healthy Women, Family Equality Council, Rider University President's Council, Rider Executive Women's Council - of which she is also a co-founder - and as an advisor at Rutgers’s Business School. She is also a Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, teaching entrepreneurism to Engineers. In addition, Columbia-Walsh regularly speaks on Digital Transformation, appears on top-tier broadcast outlets, and is published on topics including direct-to-consumer advertising, digital marketing, AI and women's initiatives.

“Meg’s entrepreneurial instinct, proven experience within large corporations and fierce ambition and vision make her the best partner to help lead and grow Code in the US," said McNeany. "I’m incredibly excited to have her as part of the team.”
