Blackett, who became country manager for WPP a year ago and was named by the UK Government as its race equality business champion, will speak to Cameron Clarke, deputy editor of The Drum, about changes taking place within agency businesses, including WPP, and how it is set for the future to meet client needs and the changing ambitions of marketers.

Daisley will offer his experiences and insights on work culture, having worked at some of the world’s leading tech companies, including Twitter and Google, from the perspective of running his successful podcast Eat Sleep Work Repeat, and has recently published his first book; The Joy of Work.

Also confirmed, Chris Hirst from Havas, who was recently promoted to head up the organization’s creative global network, having previously served as chief executive and chairman of Havas UK and Europe, alongside other agency chiefs such as Impero’s Michael Scantlebury and Katy Howell from Immediate Future, who will discuss how they are preparing for Brexit when it finally takes place the day after the conference on 29 March.

Sponsoring the day will be Results International and Oracle Netsuite.

Another session will talk to some of those working on in-house marketing needs. In addition, The Drum consulting chief Steve Antoniewicz will talk to Tina Fegent and Justin Bilingsley, chief executive of Publicis Emil and chief operating officer of Publicis Communications about the complexity in the agency landscape and how marketers are attempting to overcome the various agency models on offer, as outlined in the recent infographic released earlier this month, which featured 20 different models currently on offer by the industry.

Stephen Lepitak, editor of The Drum, commented: “Each year, Agency Acceleration Day attempts to help agency business owners overcome and better understand some of the issues they face in their drive for success and this year we have some stellar insights to come from a brilliant line up of industry experts and stalwarts. It’s going to be another brilliant event.”

Many more names and elements of this year's agenda are yet to be announced for Agency Acceleration Day 2019 which takes place on 28 March at Studio Spaces, 110 Pennington Street, London, E1W 2BB. Keep an eye on the Agency Acceleration Day website for further details.
