The Drum Search Awards recognise and celebrate the most innovative, creative and effective search campaigns in both the PPC and SEO sectors. The deadline has passed but you can still enter by contacting Christine White for an extension.

Last year, Peak Ace and Kartenmacherei took home the coveted Grand Prix while Receptional snapped up the Chair Award. To determine who are the allstars of the search industry in 2019, we need a top of the line judging panel.

Following are six industry experts on the 2019 judging panel:

Luis Navarrete Gómez
Lego Group
Luis Navarrete Gómez
Head of Global Search Marketing
Head of global search marketing at The Lego Group, Luis Navarrete Gómez defines the strategy for organic and paid search activity globally for Lego. A regular writer and speaker about search marketing, his focus is to enhance the user experience when users search for the Lego brand in different markets and platforms. With a strong technical background Navarrete Gómez has more than 15 years' experience in search marketing with cross-functional expertise in technology, management and leadership.
Year on year search marketing is getting stronger as an industry and these awards are proof of the great work that agencies and brands are doing in this space. I’m super excited to see cutting edgecampaigns that bring content and products closer to customers.
Ravleen Beeston
Bing
Ravleen Beeston
UK Head of Sales
A seasoned digital marketing professional, Ravleen Beeston is an inspirational leader with over 15 years’ experience in the industry who also champions diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

In her current role as head of sales for Bing Ads UK, Beeston leads an organisation of regional sales directors, account directors and managers. Since taking on this role in 2015, Beeston has transformed the Bing business and shifted industry perception from under-dog to a fundamental for every digital marketer.

To win an award can often be a validation of a risk taken or a chance to showcase new benchmarks of excellence to the industry. Whatever the motivation, the Drum Awards are a special endorsement that many aspire to, but only a handful get to enjoy.

Niki Grant
Mindshare
Niki Grant
Search Director
After dropping out of college, Niki Grant went to a recruitment agency on her 17th birthday and started working in media 10 days later. After 10 years in the industry, she was named as one of Media Week’s 30 Under 30 2018, and was the youngest business director Mindshare have hired in the history of the company. She now leads the paid search team in the UK and champions school leavers and non-graduates.
I'd love to see really clever insight pulled out of a huge chunk of data, with a strategy built around that insight, and tangible results to prove the benefit. It's one thing to pull a load of reports, it's quite another to use that information to inform a wider approach and come out of the other side with great performance.
John Stuchfield
Havas Media Group
John Stuchfield
Head of Paid Search
John Stuchfield is a seasoned marketing professional, with 10 years’ experience in the digital space. In his current role as head of paid search at Havas Media Group, one of the leading global media networks. Stuchfield is responsible for developing and driving the strategic approach and growth for their performance agency, Ecselis.

Overseeing a broad client portfolio, Stuchfield’s team works with SMEs through to large, blue chip companies, delivering performance focused campaigns across search, shopping and affiliate channels. Prior to working at Havas, Stuchfield headed up the paid media team at independent agency, Found, working across search, social, and display for clients such as Fender, Funky Pigeon and Canterbury.

Entering The Drum Search Awards is a must for any ambitious search professional or institution. The Drum is so widely recognised and revered, you can be sure a win is going to seriously boost your reputation and profile within the industry.
Emily Van Lierop
Volkswagen at PHD Global
Emily Van Lierop
Global Head of Search and Social
Like with many who enter a career in Search Advertising, Emily Van Lierop didn’t plan to. Originally from South Africa, Van Lierop has been in London for 13 years. Her first three years were spent client-side in start-ups, before moving agency-side to hone her search skills – a particular area she took to in a digital start-up environment. She’s spent the last ten years working with top clients in the FMCG, Auto, Finance, Travel and Telco verticals within Publicis, Dentsu Aegis, WPP and now Omnicom Group.

Van Lierop is currently the PHD global lead for Volkswagen across search and social, ensuring that all 27 in-market teams uphold the same data-lead, audience-first approach being drummed out from her London-based team.

When I started out in search, awards like these inspired me to try harder and think smarter, and are a lovely way to give credit to all those who go above and beyond for their clients every day. The Drum Awards in particular is known for being an authority in the media world, so adds extra kudos for those recognised with a Drum award.

Check out all of our judges here. The entry deadline has passed, but you can apply for an extension by contacting Christine White. Download your entry pack now and show the industry the outstanding work you have been producing.
