iProspect promotes London CEO Stefan Bardega to EMEA president

Marketing group iProspect has promoted its UK and Ireland chief executive Stefan Bardega to the broader role of EMEA president.

Replacing Bardega, who took on the London-based UK chief exec role in 2016, is UK managing director Jack Swayne. The transition will take place in March.

Bardega will be responsible for the growth and development of the business across the region, which comprises 53 offices and over 2,200 staff.

Ruth Stubbs, global president for iProspect, said Bardega had “transformed the UK business, bringing in a new leadership team, an innovative client-centric structure [and] accelerated its data and technology capabilities”.

He was also credited with delivering double-digit growth in staff and client satisfaction and revenue. Stubbs added: “Incredible achievement in such a short space of time. I’m delighted to continue working with Stefan in his expanded remit where he can have even more impact across our network.”

Bardega replaces Mark Fagan who is head of new department, global business operations.

Replacement Swayne now oversees the London and Stafford offices which comprise 400 performance marketing specialists.

Bardega said of Swayne: “Jack has been an incredible asset to the London operation in his role as managing director. He has been instrumental in building the business, accelerating our product development, and developing our high-performing team. I have every confidence he will excel in his new expanded role as chief executive.”

iProspect is part of the Dentsu Aegis Network which is made up of 10 global brands including Carat, Dentsu, dentsu X, iProspect, Isobar, mcgarrybowen, Merkle, MKTG, Posterscope and Vizeum.
