Virgin Experience Days turns to veteran marketer Dan Pearce

Pearce will assume responsibilities relating to the development and delivery of marketing strategies designed to propel experiences rather than objects as the gift of choice amongst new and existing customers.

This will see him helm a 14 strong in-house marketing team and lead relationships with agencies such as iCrossing UK, reporting directly to chief executive Richard Hurd Wood.

Commenting on his new duties Pearce said: “The Virgin Experience Days team has delivered some of the strongest digital campaigns in the experience gift sector and I’m excited to be joining at this stage in the company’s incredible growth story.

“The generational shift to valuing experiences over material possessions will continue and the business has strong growth and transformational plans in place. I’m excited to be working with the brand and bringing the Virgin values to life in the experience category.”

Pearce previously held a series of senior roles at Ticketmaster, most recently as SVP international marketing having cut his teeth with senior roles at West End Theatre bookings and Inspire Group Investments.

Virgin Experience Days was bought out by the Inflexion Group in September 2017.
