Accountancy firm The Wow Company has launched this year's BenchPress survey, its seventh annual survey of agency owners.
The survey will be divided into three main topics, assessing the role of new business, time and cash flow in agencies to provide insight and analysis on the industry and be able to realistically portray what agency life is like.
The review aims to capture data from the past year so that year-on-year comparisons can be made and agency owners can get a clear idea of where the industry is headed.
Peter Czapp, co-founder and director of The Wow Company, said: "This year's BenchPress will review the size of the agencies that are participating in the survey and consider their net profits, employee wages and any challenges that they’re currently facing. Other survey questions will focus on client relationships, specifically looking at the resources set aside for marketing and sales efforts as well as examine working habits within agencies and consider how many hours are worked within an average week. The review will also question each agency’s relationship with cash flow and evaluate their invoicing culture.
"The final part of the survey will ask agencies to reveal their plans for 2019 and share how their approaches may differ from previous years."
Full survey results will be released later in the year but for those interested in taking part in the survey, visit BenchPress.
