Horwood named chief marketing officer, North America for Kellogg's

The Kellogg Company has promoted its senior vice president of integrated marketing to the newly-created role of chief marketing officer, North America.

Gail Horwood announced she would be taking up the top marketing position in a post on Twitter. Kellogg confirmed the job was a new one for the company.

Kellogg’s chief growth officer, Clive Sirkin, announced his departure from the company last month. His role will be filled by chief revenue and e-commerce officer, Monica McGurk, AdAge reported.

Horwood previously led the company’s integrated marketing strategy across experience planning, media, CRM, design, shopper marketing and digital in a senior vice president role.

She joined in early 2017 from Johnson & Johnson, where she led the company’s worldwide digital strategy from 2010.
