Get happy this holiday: the 2018 Christmas ads that made us smile and laugh
Christmas is a feel-good time of the year, when families come together and retailers show us their best sides (usually). It’s also when many of those retailers shell out big money to earn our business through their holiday campaigns. Some of their efforts make us grab the tissues and shed a few tears. Others go for smiles and even laughs.
Santa crashes Christmas in Australia for Aldi
The Drum has compiled some of this year’s best efforts from around the globe to make us grin and guffaw as we shop our way ‘round the Christmas tree. They range from Sainsbury’s endearing Plug Boy to an updating of the popular Hershey’s ‘Bells’ and to humorous Christmas fails from Orange, and from Santa crash landing in Australia for Aldi to cute kids describing Santa for Specsavers to, of course, the real John Lewis for Twitter.
Look over the efforts and click on each Creative Works box to vote for your favorite. You can also follow all of The Drum’s Christmas coverage by clicking here.
Have a Happy and Merry Christmas and holiday season from all of us at The Drum!
