Online ticketing platform BookMyShow is keen to break the taboo among parents in India, with regards to the sexual orientation of their kids in their Children's Day campaign (14 November).

The spot titled 'Sunday Movie Day' and created by BBH India, features a boy narrating how during his childhood, every Sunday was a movie day with his family but how his parents stopped talking to him when he moved in with the person he loved - another boy. Thus, highlighting how homosexuality is looked down upon by some.

The Indian high court recently removed Section 377, which criminalised gay sex and the spot ends with the protagonist celebrating the right to love with his parents by watching a movie.
