What were your highlights of last year?
Launching our SELFHOOD network and white paper findings, as it’s given me a great platform to talk to people about.
What has been your most memorable win - and why?
A recent client win came about from a completely cold mail shot, my 1st campaign at ZAK and 7 months of relationship building. This has resulted in a (hopefully!) long-term partnership and a significant win for the agency.
How would you describe your approach to business development?
Conversational – I love talking to people and very much a social butterfly in the real and virtual worlds. If I get a chance to chat, we usually find some common ground, a way to work together or an intro to someone interesting.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Demonstrate how you can make a potential client famous, how you’ll make their life easier and angle case studies around their pain points.
What would be your number one tip to anyone starting in business development?
Don’t give up! Resilience, perseverance and organisation is key.
