Earnest and Lux win big at The Drum Agency Business Awards 2018

As well as snapping up B2B Agency of the Year and Thought Leadership accolades at The Drum Agency Business Awards 2018, Earnest (London) Ltd have been awarded the coveted Grand Prix.

Earnest and Lux take home top accolades at The Drum Agency Business Awards 2018

Since it's inception, Earnest has been on a mission to chase out the humdrum in B2B marketing, because, according to the agency, "just doing ok, isn’t ok. According to the judges, Earnest lived up to this proposition as an agency. The quality shone through with great business results which was both beautifully written and designed.

Judge and chief marketing officer at Iris Worldwide, Claire Humphris explained that Earnest stood out for the simplicity of their proposition and how quality shone through in everything they did to bring it to life. She said: "Beautiful design, carefully worded copy and honest language, not jargon, have been used to describe what they do and how they do it. They have demonstrated what they believe in, that B2B marketing can be creative and inspiring."


Another big win of the evening includes the Chair Award. This year's chair of the judging panel, Amelia Torode, founder of The Fawnbrake Collective awarded marketing agency, Lux her award.

Lux provides food and drink businesses with sector-specific expertise on brand development, design and communications. Torode said that the energy, focus and imagination of the business inspired her. She explained: "I think that Lux is a model that we will see more and more of over the next three to five years - small, smart businesses with a deep centre of gravity, in this case food and drink."


Design, marketing and internal communications agency, Synergy Creative snapped up the Best Content Marketing Strategy Award.

Having committed to provide best in class inspiration, advice and thought leadership to the employee engagement industry, the agencies content marketing strategy went to another level over the past year.

The judges said that this was head and shoulders above the rest, with a well thought through distribution, and a real understanding of their audience.

Other winners of the evening include: Team Spirit for Marketing Agency of the Year for under 100 staff, Stein IAS for Marketing Agency of the Year 100-250 staff, Evoluted for Business Develeopment, Cora CGI for New Service Launch or Development, TVC Group for Production Team of the Year, Momentum Worldwide for PR and Marketing Team of the Year and Salad for Best PR Campaign.
