What were your highlights of last year?
Cadbury's and Coca-Cola pitches at my last place were pretty memorable, but more recently, putting the gears in place to build a new business machine at MRM Meteorite.
What has been your most memorable win - and why?
One of the first things I ever worked on - COI's Change4Life programme. A campaign that, despite a decade's worth of political change, is still going strong today.
How would you describe your approach to business development?
Put your hours into creating a culture that prospective clients want to be a part of.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
"Remember - we are, or we should be, the fun part of our client's jobs - and if we're not, then we know where we need to start" - from the late, great, Mike Spicer.
What would be your number one tip to anyone starting in business development?
Say yes to everything. Make noise. And be nice.
