The Drum revealed in September that the agency, Twenty First Century Brand, Airbnb's former chief marketing officer Jonathan Mildenhall unexpectedly left to set up was, in fact, being built alongside the brand's recently-departed global marketing director Alexandra Dimiziani.

Now Neil Barrie – who served as chief strategy officer at Airbnb's former agency TBWA\Chiat\Day – has been revealed as the third co-founder.

Mildenhall is listed as the chief executive on the company's website, while Dimiziani and Barrie are global managing partners.

Outlining its mission, Twenty First Century Brand claims "to work with the world’s most ambitious leaders who aspire for their brand to play a positive cultural role and are committed to a legacy that serves humanity for good."

As anticipated, the consultancy will work with Airbnb among other clients, including Thrive Global, Ariana Huffington's startup, Pinterest, WeWork and GoDaddy.

Airbnb has yet to fill the chief marketing officer role left vacant by Mildenhall.

Last month, it promoted Geoff Seeley to the role of global marketing director for its homes business and enlisted ex-Apple and Ford marketer Musa Tariq as head of marketing for experiences.
