Snapchat's PR firm sues Instagram influencer for failing to promote Snap Spectacles
Snap’s public relations firm, PR Consulting, has filed a lawsuit against Instagram Influencer Luka Sabbat, claiming he violated the terms of a $60k agreement to promote Snapchat's Spectacles product on Instagram.

By way of recompense Sabbat’s PR handlers are seeking the return of their $45k plus an additional $45k in damages / Instagram
Actor and celebrity Sabbat received an upfront payment of $45k in the expectation that he would promote the eyewear to his 1.4 million followers through the creation of at least four unique posts; including an Instagram post and three Instagram Story posts.
Intended to dovetail with New York Fashion Week the abortive campaign instead stalled at just two posts, neither of which were cleared by PR Consulting as required.
Sabbat also apparently failed to don his glasses in public at least once while visiting fashion shows in Milan or Paris and did not submit analytics for his one Instagram feed post, precipitating the present legal action.
In their filing PR Consulting wrote: “Sabbat admitted his default but nonetheless, refused to return any of the funds paid by to him PRC.”
By way of recompense Sabbat’s PR handlers are seeking the return of their $45k plus an additional $45k in damages.
