McCann China appoints Sheena Jeng as chief creative officer

McCann Worldgroup China has appointed Publicis creative Sheena Jeng as chief creative officer for its Chinese creative offering.

Jeng, who will be based in Shanghai, will be tasked with driving McCann’s business while uniting and enhancing its creative output across all discliplines. Jeng will report to Ronald Sun and Mike Zeng, co-CEOs of McCann Worldgroup China.

Jeng joins from Publicis China where she was chair and chief creative officer and spent 19 years with the agency. Prior to this, she was creative director for Ogilvy Taiwan.

With more than 20 years experience in Greater China, Jeng has worked on brands such as Tencent, Buick, L’Oréal, Citibank, P&G, Unilever, J&J, Coca-Cola, Fidelity, Avon, Sanofi, Philips, and Nestle amongst others.

She has also been recognized at national and international awards including, Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Spikes, Epica, New York Festival, AdFest and the China 4A and Long-Xi awards.

Jeng has also served on industry bodies and was vice chairman of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of China and vice chairman of China’s Advertising Association of Commerce. She has also been named ‘China's Top Female Advertising Professional’ and ‘Taiwan's Best Advertising Professional’.
