Intel names Dentsu Aegis Network as global media agency

Intel appoints Dentsu Aegis Network to handle media services globally

Intel has named Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) as its global media agency of record, an appointment that will consolidate all of the company’s digital, social, search, programmatic, analytics and offline media accounts.

'Team Intel’, a hybrid agency from DAN, has been created as a result of the appointment. It will bring together talent from across the network’s agency brands, including Amnet, Merkle and Carat, while iProspect and Cardinal Path will continue to handle search and digital marketing respectively as incumbents.

Team Intel will be located across London, Los Angeles, Singapore and Beijing.

The appointment follows a six-month process led by Joanne Davis Consulting.

Becky Brown, vice president of global marketing and communications for Intel, said: “We’ve worked hard to enhance our legacy of global brand building with a world-class marketing technology system that delivers relevant content throughout our customers’ journey.

"We needed a global partner that excelled at combining data, technology and creativity to drive business results. We found that in the Dentsu Aegis Network.”

Nick Brien, chief executive of Dentsu Aegis Network Americas, added: “The world runs on Intel. We are extremely proud and excited to have been chosen as Intel’s global media partner. We look forward to leveraging Intel’s technology on their behalf to tell stories and to create experiences that drive sales in today’s omnichannel world."

DAN’s McGarrybowen also sits on Intel’s creative roster.
