The Drum presents Crouching Tigers, a fortnightly chat show starring creative stalwarts Patrick Collister and Steve Henry. This week, the duo look at a Ford Ecosport commercial and find it a bit self-referential.

Does anyone really care that Ford is taking the next step in SUVs? Probably not. Henry suggests it's an example of "the next step in where marketing needs to go" and why Ford should have been challenging wider societal issues - creating culture, not commercials.

After all, Henry Ford was himself a great innovator, a visionary who set out, in his way, to try and make the world a better place. Ford could, perhaps, do with some of that vision in its marketing.
