Hilton Hotels have booked in actress Anna Kendrick to star in its first ever celebrity-fronted campaign, designed to address frustrations felt by would-be guests when booking rooms.

Hilton sees Kendrick communicate the hoteliers price match pledge for travelers when they book directly through its website, app or other official channel. If they find a cheaper room elsewhere, they'll have their stay discounted by 25%.

Chief marketing officer Kellyn Smith Kenny explained: “We know our guests work hard to afford the experience of travel, and the last thing they should do is question whether or not they’re getting the best value. Through this campaign, we’re standing up for travelers that have been conditioned to expect less from travel planning and educating them on how to take advantage of the best prices and perks available to them.”

The ad will run during this weekend’s 2018 Ryder Cup on NBC.

Kendrick has previously deployed her distinctive brand of humour in support of Hulu.
