It can be hard to compete against original, classic films, but Disney’s “Mary Poppins Returns,” certainly tries to do just that. In an all new original musical and sequel, Mary Poppins is back to help the next generation of the Banks children following a family loss. The all-star cast sees new faces Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda along with some familiar faces like Dick Van Dyke.

Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel trailer

Marvel Studios have been hammering the nail on the head for the past 10 years with superhero films and next line in line is it's first female lead adventure, Captain Marvel. Carol Danvers returns to earth after a time away in space. Crashing into a Blockbuster Video store, smack bang in the nineties Captain Marvel teams up with a young looking Nick Fury, played by Samuel Jackson.

Hosted by comedians Michael Che and Colin Jost, the opening monologue for the 2018 Primetime Emmys is one we won't be forgetting anytime soon. Good or bad, you decide.
