Princes has appointed branding agency BrandOpus as its creative agency partner.

EMEA wins

Princes has appointed branding agency BrandOpus as its creative agency partner. The Liverpool-based food retailer appointed the agency after a six-month competitive pitch.

Footwear brand Russell & Bromley has appointed IPG Mediabrand's Reprise as its digital agency, following a review run through Creativebrief.

Coatings manufacturer Sherwin-Williams, owner of the Valspar and Ronseal brands, has appointed Enjoy Digital to drive its digital strategy. The Leeds-based agency has won a three-year account with the company.

Omnia Retail, a Dutch pricing and online marketing automation software provider, has appointed PR Agency One to handle its communications strategy. The agency was appointed following a competitive pitch.

First aid training charity Millie's Trust has appointed Platform81 to run a social media campaign. The digital media agency has been tasked with raising awareness of the need for first aid training.

This week's acquisitions

  • Time Magazine has been bought by Salesforce founder Marc Benioff in a $190m deal.

  • Audio company iHeartMedia has announced the acquisition of Stuff Media, a leading publisher of podcasts.

  • Maru Group has announced the acquisition of Lissted, a social listening service which identifies relevant influencers in communities.

Apac wins

Property Finder has chosen J Walter Thompson as its communication partner in the United Arab Emirates with immediate effect. The agency was selected after a competitive pitch against several international agencies.

Reviews

The Edinburgh International Festival has asked for expressions of interest in a pitch for its creative account. The successful agency will lead on brand design for the 2019 International Festival, with the potential to renew each year until 2022. The account was previously held by Touch.

Launches

Accenture Interactive has launched a design and innovation studio in South Africa. Fjord Johannesburg will be Accenture's 28th design studio globally.

We Are Social has announced the launch of its 12th international office, in the Spanish capital of Madrid. The new office will be run by Alberto Pachano, who joins the agency as managing director.

Acceleration Partners has established a regional headquarters in Singapore, marking a move into the Apac region. The agency is one of the world's largest affiliate marketing companies.
