The digital innovation and venture building services provider alighted on Hammond, following a spell of growth that has brought increasing internationalization to the business. Starting from October, Hammond will seek to capitalise on these shifts and he will work to further broaden Pilot44’s footprint in the region.
Andrew Backs, co-founder, Pilot44 Labs commented: “We are thrilled Johnny will be adding his extensive in-market experience to our growing team of accomplished startup entrepreneurs, technologists and marketers. Johnny brings a deep understanding of how to build successful corporate innovation programmes. Based on the needs of our global clients, such as P&G, Nestle and Sanofi, and the continuing growth of the startup ecosystem across the APAC region, it is the right time for us to expand into the APAC region.”
Hammond added: “I am exceptionally excited to be joining Pilot44 Labs as it rapidly expands its operations into Asia. We are continually seeing the power of digital transformation affecting companies large and small, so I am looking forward to helping clients create programmes that build resilience, innovation and disruption across their business.”
In his new role Hammond will assume responsibility for assisting organisations in expanding their Asian operations and digital strategies.
