Endemol Shine prioritises cohesion with management reshuffle

Endemol Shine Group has confirmed that it is to reorganise the management team at its commercial division as it seeks to weave together its gaming, brand licensing and digital arms.

The content creator, producer and distributor has promoted former senior director of digital monetisation, Yannick Ferrero, to the post of group director, commercial operations. A remit which will include oversight of the gaming and brand licensing divisions in addition to his current digital remit.

In addition Jane Smith, former director of brand licensing and strategy, will take her place as group director of brand licensing and gaming while reporting directly to Ferrero.

Wim Ponnet, chief commercial and strategy officer at Endemol Shine Group, said: “Yannick and Jane have done an exceptional job growing our digital and brand licensing operations. Endemol Shine Gaming is in great shape, with exciting growth opportunities, and Yannick and Jane are perfectly placed to build on this success and maximise the commercial potential of our IP.”

Rounding off the changes Owain Walbyoff, managing director of Endemol Shine Gaming, will depart to head-up the London office of a neuro-technology startup.

Endemol Shine Group generates around 2.5bn monthly views for content such as Mr Bean, Masterchef and Big Brother on platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.
