Running until March 2019, the campaign will highlight the role the outdoors can play as an antidote to the chaos and stress of modern life.

Created by VCCP, the campaign spans OOH, press, video on demand, digital radio and TV and is part of a major long-term marketing communications initiative backed by the brand’s parent company, Pentland Brands.

“We’re really passionate about the outdoors and we wanted to use that passion to inspire more people to get out,” commented head of brand management at Berghaus, Chris Tattersall.

“This is the most ambitions and large-scale advertising campaign in the history of Berghaus - we believe it is bigger and bolder than anything else that consumers have seen from an outdoor brand in the UK and we’re very excited about its potential.”

Additionally, Berghaus is marking the launch of ‘Time to get out’ with an installation at the London Design Biennale in Somerset House from 4-23 September.

Led by Katie Greenyer of Pentland Brands, the installation will transport people from the oppressive stress and noisy chaos of the city to the tranquil and beautiful canvas of the outdoors.

Advertising will go love across the UK on Monday 10 September with media planning being managed by MediaCom in Manchester.
