EE and BT sport have launched their latest dual brand campaign, bringing together its longtime ambassador Kevin Bacon with national cooking treasure Delia Smith.
The unlikely duo have teamed up to showcase the fact that EE customers can watch BT Sport on their smartphones, and cast it to their TV, without having to stump up for extra data.
The spot shows Delia, a majority shareholder in Norwich City, readying an herby roast chicken while watching her beloved 'Canaries' play. Just as she's about to miss out the action, Bacon strolls in (with a bunch of carrots ready for glazing) and uses the BT Sport app to cast the match from his phone directly to the TV.
BT Sport and EE have been running brand campaigns in tandem since 2016, a year after the former snapped up the mobile network for £125bn.
The latest campaign will run across TV, out of home (OOH), cinema and video on demand (VOD) – with edits and content developed specifically for a range of digital and social channels.
