Omnicom moves into management and IT consulting with Credara purchase

Omnicom Precision Marketing Group (OPMG) has expanded its management and IT consulting footprint with the acquisition of a majority stake in Credara, its first purchase in the sector.

Specialising in martech and e-commerce platforms that boost customer engagement and drive growth, Omnicom said Credara will strengthen its offer in creative, data and analytics.

Welcoming the move, Luke Taylor, OPMG chief executive, said: “Credera works directly with the c-suite to help companies transform their business for the digital age. Credera has become a trusted business advisor to change leaders across an impressive roster of B2B and consumer companies. We welcome it to the Omnicom family.”

Credera’s CEO and chairman, Rob Borrego, will continue in post following the deal to provide management continuity at the full-service provider.
