Meet The Drum B2B Award judges 2018: Adobe, Mower, Brownstein and PJA Advertising

The first four judges on our 2018 panel are: Chris Duffey of Adobe, Chris Steenstra of Mower, Marc Brownstein of the Brownstein Group and Aaron DaSilva of PJA Advertising.

We want to share the best practices, companies and people in the industry with our readers to help them make better decisions and our best in class judges will help us do just that.

Following are some of our stellar 2018 judges:

Chris Duffey, senior strategic business development manager, creative agencies, Creative Cloud Enterprise, Adobe

Chris Duffey

Duffey spear-heads Adobe’s Creative Cloud strategic development partnerships across the creative enterprise space.

Prior to Adobe, Duffey was an award-winning executive creative director, noted speaker, author and AI and mobile technologist. He has been featured by Business Insider, and Yahoo as one of “The industry’s leaders on the top issues, challenges and opportunities in the fast-changing world of mobile marketing.”

Duffey has been a creative consultant with over 35 advertising agencies and across all the major global holding companies: WPP, IPG, Havas, Omnicom, Publicis and MDC, having worked across every major industry vertical."

On what he wants to see from the entries, he said: "The definition of B2B advertising has been refined. The stale and dry stigma is long gone and has been replaced by excitement and emotive experiences. It’s not just about selling tedious technical specs, it’s about communicating and interfacing with people who understand the value that great and memorable experiences make lasting connections."

Steenstra leads internal operations across EMA's nine offices in five states, including staffing, inter-office workflow, and the agency's digital, media and production teams. She also strategizes and oversees client marketing programs, integrating new media channels and technologies to drive business forward for EMA clients. Steenstra is a leader of EMA’s business-to-business practice, Group B2B

She is also a member of EMA’s senior leadership team as well as the Business Marketing Association board of directors, and brings clients specialized expertise in business-to-business marketing.

Marc Brownstein, president and chief executive officer, Brownstein Group

MARC BROWNSTEIN

Brownstein is the president and chief executive officer of the Brownstein Group and has grown the family business into a modern, brand-centric shop that prides itself on early innovation and an award-winning company culture. Under his leadership, the Agency has quadrupled in size, adding many blue-chip clients to its roster, including ikea, Comcast, Giant supermarkets, DuPont, Saint Gobain, AmeriGas, Wawa, NJM Insurance, Western Union, La Colombe, United HealthCare, and Lyft.

Outside of the agency, he serves as special communications advisor to Pennsylvania State University as well as chairing the Penn State University's College of Communications Board and the Mural Arts Program’s marketing committee.

Aaron DaSilva, executive vice president and executive creative director, PJA Advertising

AARON DASILVA

DaSilva built his career by helping brands in virtually every category that taps into truths their buyers care about, and then using those insights to create stories that are both rationally and emotionally engaging.

He has judged numerous award shows including The Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX), The Global Ace Awards, The New England Addy’s Awards, The NEDMA awards, and The Pynchon Awards. DaSilva is also a frequent speaker at Boston University College of Communication, having appeared as a guest speaker at the AdAge Small agency conference.
