Following are five of our stellar list of 2018 judges:
Mack McKelvey, founder and chief executive officer, SalientMG
McKelvey, chief executive officer of SalientMG, serves as senior marketing counsel for technology companies and brands at various stages of growth. Over her 20-year career in mobile and digital, McKelvey has led transformative B2B and B2C company growth initiatives to accelerate revenue and create market differentiation for publicly-traded and privately-held companies.
Prior to founding SalientMG in early 2013, Mack was the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Millennial Media; from the company’s start-up stage through its successful 2012 IPO. Previously, Mack held senior roles at SIRIUS XM Radio, VeriSign, British Telecom (BT Ignite), and 2nd Century Communications. She also held senior account roles at Edelman and Alexander Communications (now part of Ogilvy PR) and she started her career at Lucent Technologies.
Benjamin Dick, director of product, data, IAB Tech Lab
Dick is director of product, data at IAB Tech Lab and leads digital supply chain projects within its data transparency, identity, and attribution groups. He works closely with ad tech platforms, agencies and publishers to identify the most pressing challenges within these verticals, and develops technical standards and best practices that aim to improve the automated, data-driven buying and selling of digital media.
Prior to joining IAB Tech Lab, Ben oversaw North American programmatic strategy, analytics and optimization across GroupM Nestlé Trade Desk. He has also held agency positions at Maxus Global and Universal McCann, where he was responsible for programmatic and measurement strategies for clients including MasterCard, Barclays, NBC Universal, Harvard Business School, and Welch's.
Sara Badler, head of programmatic revenue and strategy, Dotdash
Badler is head of programmatic revenue and strategy at Dotdash having joined in February 2018.
Previously she was head of programmatic advertising at The New York Times, where she managed a programmatic team globally, focusing on revenue working with direct clients, partners and exchanges. Badler started her career at JOININ Tech for more than three years to then move on to manage programmatic at Forbes Media and Hearst Corporation.
Rob Beeler, founder, Beeler Tech
Widely known as the content czar of AdMonsters for the past nine years, Beeler now plays the role of the chairman.
He is also founder of Beeler Tech, offering training, research and consulting services to the digital media community. He’s been involved with ad operations for over 20 years having started at Advance Internet as the only ad operations person and developed a department of 15 people in eight locations across the US.
Jana Meron, senior vice president, programmatic and data strategy, Business Insider
Meron is the senior vice president of programmatic and data strategy for Insider Inc. She played a pivotal role helping transform Insider Inc. into an industry pioneer that was early to embrace programmatic across its organization, and she oversees a sophisticated and singular private exchange. Previously, Meron worked at CBS Local Digital, where she was responsible for a majority of their indirect revenue, and an early employee at Google, working with publishers.
