This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

EMEA people are on the move

Hi5.Agency

Hi5.agency has appointed Paul Rollens as head of audio visual.

Having started his career in theatre, Rollens brings with him a wealth of experience working on trailers, tv spots, promos as well as original content.

Captify

Rob Berzinskas has been appointed by Captify as vice president of US sales.

Joining from Integral Ad Science where he was vice president of programmatic sales, Berzinkas will be based in the new York office working closely with chief revenue office Dominic Trigg.

Exterion Media

Julian Carter has been appointed as regional sales director for the North by Exterion Media.

Previously, Carter has held roles such as group commercial director at Wireless Group and group sales director at GMG Radio.

Unbounce

Unbounce has appointed Felicia Bochicchio as chief revenue officer, a newly created role as the landing page and conversation platform continues to grow.

Bochicchio brings with her over 25 years of experience, most recently as vice president of Bench Accounting.

Digital Remedy

TJ Sullivan has joined Digital Remedy in a newly created position, executive vice president of sales.

Having worked in integrated media and sales for over 20 years, Sullivan has said he is looking forward to bringing everything he learnt in his latest role as vice president of connections at iHeart Media to the role.

AKQA

Global design agency AKQA, has appointed Christine Grand as client partner to be based out of its San Francisco office.

She recently moved to San Francisco from Shanghai where she was leading numerous client service, strategy and digital teams.

Optimove

Optimove has announced the addition of industry veteran Yarden Malka to its executive team as the chief operation officer.

Prior to joining Optimove, Malka was the vice president of engineering at Earnix.

She Knows Media

Samantha Skey has been named chief executive of SheKnows Media, Skey has been promoted from president and chief revenue officer. In her new role, she will lead SheKnows.com, Stylecaster and BlogHer.

Highsnobiety

Highsnobiety, a fashion and lifestyle media company, has added Melissa Goidel to its board of directors.

TBWA/Media Arts Lab

TBWA\Media Arts Lab, the bespoke, global advertising agency dedicated to Apple, has appointed Julian Cheevers as Managing Director in Los Angeles.

Cheevers will report directly to TBWA\Media Arts Lab Global President, Katrien De Bauw.

P&G

Proctor & Gamble (P&G) has promoted Katharine Newby-Grant to marketing director for Northern Europe as Stefan Feitoza steps down to lead the Baby and Fem Care business in Latin America.

Feitoza was appointed to the top UK marketing role in 2016, replacing Roisin Donnelly.

APAC people on the move

APD

APD has appointed Chris Butterworth as Australian head of digital product and strategy.

Butterworth will be responsible for building on ­­­­­the strength of APD’s owned media team, growing its range of services and developing cross-channel products. Butterworth joins APD from Reprise Digital, where he was head of strategy & insights.

PHD

PHD Group has appointed four of its senior management team to new leadership roles within its two agencies, PHD and Spark PR & Activate.

PHD managing director Nikki Grafton has been appointed to the newly created PHD Group position of people and culture director, with Lee-Ann Morris stepping into the role of managing director of PHD.

Christophe Spencer has been promoted to chief technology officer at PHD, while Dallas Gurney has been promoted to managing director of Spark PR & Activate.

Quantcast

Quantcast has made a number of senior sales appointments for its Singapore office, hiring Benjamin Steel as business development lead, Wayne Wong as senior agency lead and Sybil Ng as senior account manager.

Steel joins from Torpedo Digital where he was regional director. Wong joins from Encore Digital Media where he was APAC regional sales director, and Ng joins from Blis where she was lead client services & strategy for Asia. The trio will all report to Chris Scudder, sales director, South East Asia and Greater China

Interbrand

Interbrand Australia has promoted Davy Rennie to managing director and Ben Miles to executive creative director. Rennie was previously experience director, while Miles steps up from creative director.

The promotions follow a strong new business run by the agency which has added news clients including Bega, University of Sydney, Staywell Group, News Corp, LJ Hooker and Daydream Island. Rennie and Miles will report to chief executive officer Nathan Birch.

Colenso BBDO

Colenso BBDO Auckland has appointed Max McKeon as creative director. McKeon was previously associate creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi, New York and was part of the team behind the award-winning ‘It’s a Tide Ad’ Super Bowl campaign.

McKeon previously worked at The Monkeys and Publicis Mojo.

TBWA

TBWA\Sydney has appointed Tanya Vragalis as head of account management.

Vragalis was previously a group head at M&C Saatchi where she led the Commonwealth Bank business for two and a half years.

Prior to this, she worked at Leo Burnett for almost 10 years on clients including Samsung, GIO Insurance, Big W and Canon.

Domino's

Fast food chain Domino’s has appointed Melody Livingston as chief marketing officer for its Australian and New Zealand operations.

Livingston, who was previously head of marketing at YouFoodz , will be responsible for the brand's marketing strategy and execution. She will report to group chief marketing director Allen Collins.

Saatchi & Saatchi New York

Saatchi & Saatchi New York has announced the appointment of Taras Wayner as chief creative officer, effective 1 September.

Wayner joins from the Publicis agency from R/GA, where for a year he was its chief creative for the US. During his time there he created products, services, and communications for brands including Nike, Samsung, Verizon, and Beats By Dre.

Digitas

Digitas has promoted Scott Donaton to global chief creative and content officer.

Donaton was previously with IPG Mediabrands, Entertainment Weekly and AdAge, where he wrote the book, Madison & Vine.

McCann New York

McCann New York has strengthened its creative department with Daniel Rodriguez being appointed as executive creative director and Lauren McCrindle and Erin Wendel as group creative directors.

Rodriguez is an 18-year veteran of the agency, having worked his way up the ranks starting as an art director in 2000. Erin Wendel and Lauren McCrindle have been promoted to group creative directors after nearly two years as creative directors at McCann New York.

Havas Media New York

Katerina Sudit has been hired as president of Havas Media New York where she is tasked with developing talent, strategy and growth.

Based in the New York Village, Sudit looks to put in place a flat structure across all Havas Media’s divisions. She joins the company from Mindshare where she led accounts for brands like Chanel and Booking.

Cutters Studios

Cutters Studios has added internationally acclaimed editor Livio Sanchez to its New York staff.

Known as the editor of Budweiser's iconic original 'Wassup' spot, Sanchez has cut high-profile commercials for premier brands, their agencies and many of the world's leading directors.

Transmedia Group

Vanessa Rutigliano has joined Transmedia Group as director of operations. In addition to office managerial tasks, Vanessa works closely with clients such as The Opioid Awareness Foundation, Catherine Spitale, Jackie Beard Robinson, and Moroccan Gold Series.

The independent PR firm in Florida has also appointed Danielle Stoecker director of public relations.

Marc USA

Mark Moll has joined Marc USA as senior vice president, executive creative director in the Pittsburgh office.

Moll’s resume includes leadership roles at many of the top creative agencies in the nation, including CP+B, Leo Burnett, R/GA and Deutsch as well as freelance stints for Martin Agency, BBDO, Innocean, 72 and Sunny and others.
