Havas Media hires Katerina Sudit as president

Based in the New York Village, Sudit looks to put in place a flat structure across all Havas Media’s divisions. She joins the company from Mindshare where she led accounts for brands like Chanel and Booking.

She brings to the fore, 20 years of experience, having started her career as a copywriter. Most recently she worked for Starcom in Singapore.

Sudit reports to Colin Kinsella, chief executive North America of Havas Media. Kinsella said: “Kat leans forward with media partners in the development of never-been-done-before ideas, building brands and, importantly, contributing to building businesses.

“I’ve known and worked with her for several years and couldn’t be more excited for her to join. She’ll bring great energy, smarts and creativity to the New York office and serve as the new media ‘mayor’ of the New York office.”

On her appointment, Sudit said: “I deeply believe that the brands successfully navigating the current chaotic marketing climate are ones which have built meaningful connections to consumers.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of an agency that embeds this philosophy into its go-to-market approaches for brands.”
