Integrated creative agency AB has appointed Rosalind Knight as digital marketing manager - content specialist, who has been charged with heading up content projects within the digital marketing department.

Knight, whose previous positions included senior web executive at the British Red Cross and editor of arts venue the Southbank Centre in London, will execute content plans for clients and support the digital marketing department with in-house content.

Sarah Gill, head of digital strategy said: “Ros is a fantastic addition to the digital marketing team at AB. She has a breadth of experience that ranges from a content team in a global organisation to UK charities looking to make their mark in a crowded space. It means that whatever challenges our clients are facing, Ros can empathise and crucially, help develop a solution that will make an impact, whatever the budget.”

Knight added: “This is my first agency role – previously I’ve always worked in-house. I always loved the energy that working with an agency brought to a project, and I wanted to find a role where I could use my skills in a different way. I think in-house experience is valuable because you know what it’s like to be the client, working really hard in a busy day job, juggling multiple demands and stakeholders. As a client, you want an agency to understand your world and to be your ally – if they don’t, they can offer unrealistic or unhelpful advice.”

Founded in 1983, AB is a full service creative agency with offices in London and Exeter. Their current clients include Doncaster Sheffield Airport, Cotswold Company, UseYourLocal and Sabio.
