Feitoza was appointed to the top UK marketing role in 2016, replacing Roisin Donnelly.

He joined after 16 years with P&G, predominantly in Latin America where he was brand manager for Brazil before taking on responsibility for the whole region.

P&G has not issued a formal announcement on his departure but confirmed that he would return to take on the role of vice president of for the Baby and Fem Care business in Latin America.

Newby-Grant will now oversee marketing for P&G in Northern Europe.

A P&G veteran, she joined the company as a graduate in 2000 where she was a brand manager, then brand director before being named head of media for Northern Europe, a role she has held for four years.

Her promotion comes at a tumultuous time for P&G and its advertising agencies. The FMCG-giant is on track to cut its agency roster by 50% by the close of 2018, the latest act in a four-year cull witnessing some 4,700 firms axed from its books.

The agencies that are left have been faced with the unnerving prospect of P&G’s desire to "re-invent" agency partnerships through a new model which bring talent from competing holding groups together under one roof.
