Shell has concluded an overhaul of its agency roster, The Drum understands.

Global accounts

Shell has overhauled its agency roster, with incumbents J Walter Thompson London set to share the company's creative account with Wunderman, Geometry Global, VCCP, Dentsu and a range of other agencies. MediaCom will continue to hold the petrochemical firm's global media account, The Drum understands.

Wavemaker has been appointed to the global media budget of Espirit, following a competitive pitch. Wavemaker, which already handled the brand's account in Germany, will now expand its brief to include Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, France, Belgium and China.

Account wins

The European Tour has selected Brave Bison as strategic consultant to enhance its YouTube presence. Brave Bison will provide audience insight, research and channel management services to the golf event brand.

Stansted Express has appointed Lida to revatalise its brand positioning. The agency has been tasked with positioning the brand as a travel option for tourists.

Safety tag specialist Road iD has appointed search marketer Red Hot Penny to support its launch in the UK. The agency will provide strategic advice and consultancy to the firm, which makes ID tags for sports enthusiasts.

A+E Networks UK has appointed UM as its media strategy, planning and buying partner following a competitive pitch. The brief was previously held by Arena Media.

Organix has appointed The Gate London as its creative agency. The organic food brand selected the agency following a review run by AAR.

Symington's has appointed Blue Chip following a competitive pitch. The food business has tasked the agency with working on its Mug Shot brand.

Kimberly-Clark has reaffirmed its relationship with MHP Communications by awarding the agency PR briefs for a further five brands alongside Andrex and Kleenex. The agency, associated with the group for the last decade, now manages earned media for all seven of its UK brands.

Boutique Hotel Group has appointed Cube3 to undertake a full website redevelopment, alongside the creation of paid media strategies, for the leisure brand. The agency will focus on properties Peckforton Castle and Nunsmere Hall.

Finn Partners has been selected as agency-of-record for RiskIQ, a leader in digital threat management. Finn has been directed to build brand awareness of the company's platforms.

Acquisitions

Global PR firm Weber Shandwick has acquired social creative agency That Lot for an undisclosed sum. The move represents Weber Shandwick’s latest effort to ramp up its multi-platform capabilities following a series of acquisitions over the last two years.

Endeavor Global Marketing, the cultural marketing agency within Endeavor, has acquired UK-based sport and entertainment communications agency Clifford French.
