Quintessentially, a luxury lifestyle services and marketing group, announced the appointment of Annastasia Seebohm to the position of global chief executive officer.

Q Global CEO Seebohm

Six years in, Annastasia Seebohm has risen to global CEO at Quintessentially Group / Quintessentially Group

Seebohm, who previously held the role of US chief executive, has succeeded Quintessentially co-founder Aaron Simpson; Simpson has now taken the role of group executive chairman. Her mission in this new role has been to redefine what modern luxury service is and can be for its clients, and to accelerate the global development of the group as a whole.

The new global chief had joined the London-based lifestyle group in 2012. In her time as US chief executive, Seebohm was in charge of four US offices, as well as the strategic alignment across the nine Americas offices, reportedly tripling revenues in her first 12 months. Now six years in, she now has the responsibility of overseeing the group’s P&L, which has been said to exceed revenues of $100 million. Quintessentially’s team of 1,000 staffers in 60 offices worldwide have now been placed in her oversight.

The executive appointment followed what Quintessentially called a successful two years as a boutique, marketing and experience agency in the USA, which Seebohm oversaw. Forbes Magazine had reported new business wins for clients Louis Vuitton-Moet Hennessy Group (LVMH), HSBC Premier, BMW and Air Partner, among others.

Aaron Simpson said in a statement: “As part of key efforts and continued expansion, we are restructuring our executive team,” said Simpson, co-founder of Quintessentially. “We are excited for what lies ahead for the Quintessentially Group with Annastasia at the helm, especially in the digital arena.”

He added: “She has demonstrated an innate understanding of our core business - affluent and discerning members - and how to excel at servicing them, and has combined this unique offering with building prestigious partnerships at the agency level. She has a proven track record across a number of our business threads, and has delivered passionately in each one, without fail. We are grateful for her leadership as she forges the next chapter in the Quintessentially journey. Her key strength as a leader,” Simpson added, “is identifying world-class talent, which is crucial to the Group’s continued success.”

Fellow co-founder Ben Elliot also commented: “Her adaptability in looking after our HNW members and developing new business in the luxury market, is truly outstanding. We value both her integrated experience and extensive knowledge of the luxury market and look forward to further exceptional growth under her leadership.”

Seebohm’s spare time has included leading the group’s American philanthropic endeavours with her work to launch Quintessentially Foundation USA, the grant-giving arm of Quintessentially, that aims to bring about meaningful change in underserved communities. Seebohm also sits on the advisory board of Racked Stretch, an innovative biomechanics-based, wellness start-up and acts as a mentor to young women in business.
