The judging day has been and gone and now we can announce the finalists for The Scottish Design Awards 2018.

The scheme, which rewards top design agencies and architecture firms for their contribution to the country's design culture, is now into its second decade year and the esteemed judging panel has whittled down the entries to a final shortlist.
When it comes to the design nominations there are several agencies up for accolades across various categories including: Graphic Publication and Design Craft.
The finalists for Design Craft are: RRD Creative for Christmas Card, my:creative for Mezzidakia, Nevis Design for Glengoyne Spirit of Oak Collection, Whitespace for University of Stirling Research Campaign, Freytag Anderson for Master Fishmonger Standard Photography & Illustration, StudioLR for The Playful Garden at Brodie Castle, Cause & Effect for Cause & Effect and PRC for Bunnahabhain 1980 Canasta.
Head of design, TBWA Manchester, Daniel Bickerton said: "There was a noticeable rise in the standards across the categories and as a panel of judges we were in a similar space regarding our preferences.
"Healthy debate throughout the day was steered brilliantly by the team at Urban Realm, with some categories showing strength over others. I feel we've collectively selected some really outstanding work which the Scottish agencies should be proud of and make for a brilliant evening"
The finalists for Graphic Publication are: Fourtwentyseven Design for Movers and Shakers, Intimation Creative Limited for Wild About Gardens, StudioLR for A far-off land and Wordpicturestory for Care/Less.

The winners will be named at a black-tie event at the Grand Central hotel, Glasgow, Thursday 23 August.
The awards are in partnership with The Drum, Urban Realm, Rakkaus Furniture, Porcelanosa Group and Rock Rose.
