Kitchen designer and manufacturer Omega has appointed Cogent as its lead strategic and creative partner complete with a seven-figure through the line budget as it readies itself for a new phase of expansion.
In its new role, brokered following a competitive pitch organised by The Drum Consulting, Cogent will work closely with digital agency Engage which has also been appointed to help execute the strategy online.
Their work will see Omega double down on its ‘very British collection’ of patriotic brands which include the likes of Sheraton, Mackintosh, Chippendale and English Rose – in tandem with its contracts division.
Chris Blackham. head of marketing for Omega, said: “A significant investment in marketing and communications is the next crucial step in our expansion plans as we look to energetically grow our market share. Earlier this year we revealed details of our £20m investment and expansion plans, which will increase production capacity to over £125m over the next two years.
“We were looking for an agency who could give us a step change in our marketing efforts and Cogent demonstrated they were the right team to lead us on the journey.”
