UPS has enlisted former Xerox executive Kevin Warren to the role of chief marketing officer, with a remit to handle all US and international marketing.
Warren will be tasked with handing product development, pricing, communications, loyalty and PR among other business functions. He will report to UPS chairman and chief executive David Abney and join the UPS management committee.
The marketer replaces Teresa Finley, UPS' former chief marketing and business services officer, who retried in 2017.
Most recently, Warren served as executive vice-president and chief commercial officer for Xerox Corp. He is currently a director of Illinois Tool Works and of Georgetown University, where he also chairs the audit committee.
Commenting on his appointment, boss Abney said:“With unprecedented demand from consumer and business customers, it’s critical for UPS to have a savvy leader driving innovative new marketing programs that support one of world’s most trusted and respected brands.
“Kevin brings a wealth of experience to UPS with a strong global growth focus across multiple disciplines. He will guide critically important marketing initiatives as we continue UPS’s transformation.”
