Time Inc UK unveils rebrand to Ti Media

Time Inc UK is primed to rebrand to TI Media, a move following its acquisition by private equity firm Epiris LLP in March.

Following Meredith Corporation selling the stable, the company will roll out a new brand and logo on Monday 11 June 2018.

Ti Media, which boasts around 40 magazine titles including NME, Marie Claire UK, Woman and Now, claims to reach 16.4 million people each month. It has had issues protecting against diminishing print circulations and a year ago cut 300 staff members. The news also follows the announcement of the publishers magazine, Look being closed.

Marcus Rich, Time Inc UK chief executive, explained the re-branding saying: “We are proud of all we have achieved as Time Inc UK over the last four years and, before that, as IPC Media over many years.

"While we wanted our new name to speak to that successful past – with the T of Time Inc. and the I of IPC – we also wanted it to be adaptable to suit the ways we will evolve and look to extend that success under our new ownership. We are now looking forward to exploring those new opportunities as TI Media.”

Sir Bernard Gray, executive chairman of Time Inc UK, also added: "Our new name opens the next chapter of our story with familiarity and new energy.”

Following the unveil, Time Inc will legally change its name to TI Media Limited from 11 June 2018.

After the sale of Time Inc, Meredith Corporation also announced it is to close the UK offices of its adtech offering Viant.
