The Drum has officially opened nominations for its second annual 50 under 30 in the US, a list that honors young women who use creativity every day to innovate, solve problems and create impactful work.

Nominations are open to women working in all corners of the industry — marketing, advertising, tech, design, digital or media. We’re looking to spotlight women who are pushing the boundaries of creativity and paving the way for the next generation of creatives.

Last year, The Drum’s inaugural 50 under 30 list featured honorees from five US regions - Northeast, Midwest, South, Southwest and West - in an effort to showcase the talent of individuals all across the country instead of the usual coastal hubs. While our second annual list will once again celebrate women who work all over the US, we won’t be breaking it down by region this year.

Nominate an individual or individuals for 50 under 30 US here. Nominations close on July 11.

A panel of judges including Wongdoody executive creative director Pam Fujimoto, The Martin Agency chief creative officer Karen Costello and Quantcast chief marketing officer Steven Wolfe Pereira will help The Drum choose our final 50.

Check out last year’s 50 under 30 US honorees here. Below, see what some of last year’s winners had to say about the achievement.

“I felt honored to be named amongst a group of creative and badass women. They inspire me to continue to push harder and never settle. And they’re proof that women in advertising are changing the game.” - Sam Hirshberg, senior copywriter on Gatorade at VML

“Identifying emerging talent is equally as important as recognizing established talent and that’s exactly what being a part of The Drum’s 50 under 30 does. It allows us to redefine what a leader looks like and the impact that standing together, shoulder-to-shoulder, can create in our business.” - Meredith Klein, associate director of public relations at Brunner

“This award gave me that boost of confidence at times I fail to carry. It’s was the reminder to see the potential in myself the way others do.” - Ashley Formanek, senior digital producer at Drumroll

“Being honored as one of the top 50 under 30 has impacted my drive more than anything. It lit a spark inside of me that makes me want to achieve more, create better work, and continue to learn new skills each day.” - Mo Lockard, senior art director at 22squared
