The family firm has been producing cider from its Herefordshire base since 1880 and harbours ambitious growth plans to increase the business by over 40% as soon as 2023, at which point it hopes to have a turnover in excess of £85m.
This follows the unveil of a new brand identity last October designed to counter large amounts of crossover and low brand loyalty within the drinks sector.
Dan Keat, director of Investment at M/Six, said: “The Westons portfolio of brands have heritage in abundance, but face a challenge to tell their story to new and existing customers in a very competitive market.”
Tim Williams, brand & media manager at Westons Cider, added: “While we increase our use of traditional media to support our core established brands, it’s been enlightening to kick off a number of projects with M/Six, that will help us communicate effectively with the drinkers and shoppers of tomorrow”.
Westons has previously marketed its cider with the line 'Slowly matured for a little extra character'.
