Unlimited Group targets B2B marketing boost with First base acquisition

The acquisition will deliver a wealth of experience to Unlimited in one fell swoop; including content and digital strategy and execution for inbound marketing, account-based marketing, lead nurture and demand generation.

Specialists in the arts and science and owners of technology PR and communications agency Nelson Bostock Unlimited Unlimited's move will broaden the scope of its offer in end-to-end marketing services.

Unlimited Group president Tim Bonnet said: “Nelson Bostock Unlimited has a strong heritage in the B2B and technology sectors, working with global and challenger brands. This acquisition further strengthens our offer in a market where communications and marketing are converging, enabling us to offer a full range of services from brand building and reputation management through to lead generation and sales.”

Faye Hawkins, managing director, First Base Unlimited added: “We’re excited to become part of the Unlimited Group; its scale and impressive client list, together with Nelson Bostock Unlimited’s expertise in delivering communications programmes for business and technology brands, provides a perfect home for First Base and a launch pad for future growth.”

First Base will continue to operate as a separate brand following the tie-up, based in Unlimited Group’s London office.

Last month the agency network confirmed it would be simplifying its business model having undergone a restructure and brand refresh.
