Pinterest reminds Brits how it can provide the inspiration to solve everyday problems

Pinterest has launched a new ad campaign called 'Start here' that goes to great lengths to show how the social network can be a source of inspiration to users.

The brand's third UK ad campaign demonstrates how people can use the app to find ideas for everyday life, be it haircut inspirations or how to life-hack a dog bed.

Mac Huynh, creative lead at Pinterest, said: "Seeing a good idea is the spark you need to get started. When you see what you’re looking for, you’re one step closer to getting started.

“Pinterest is an essential tool for any self-starter: You find the right idea, and then save it, organise it, share it, build on it, and get right down to doing it. Whatever project you’re ready for, big or small, there’s no better place to start.”

Pinterest’s global creative team worked with UK director Ben Whitehouse and Stink Studios to bring the ads to life.

Whitehouse said: “What really appealed about working with Pinterest was that it's an exciting, creative platform that trades in ideas and inspiration. As far as ‘product' goes, that’s pretty sexy. And that, coupled with some really well defined character driven stories - what I love the most - and it being a launch campaign, made it a project I had to work on.”

The TV ad first ran on Channel 4 on 4 May.
