Following a £40 million buy out courtesy of Moneysupermarket earlier this year, Decision Tech has announced the appointment of Mark Pocock as senior commercial manager for home communications.
Joining the company from Telefonica, Pocock will be in charge of leading the strategic commercial direction of the home communications portfolio of the comparison technology and performance marketing group.
Michael Phillips, chief executive officer at Decision Tech, said of the appointment: “This is a really pivotal role for Decision Tech, as building and maintaining strong, trusted partnerships is one of the core pillars of the business. Getting the right person to drive the team forward was vital and Mark has fantastic experience within the telecoms space. We’re really looking forward to seeing him apply his expertise to the challenges here to give our partners an even better experience, utilising the leading edge tech we are developing alongside exceptional account management skills.”

The buyout will see Moneysupermarket switch their broadband and mobile comparison services to Decision Tech’s telecoms comparison platform.
